Kneeling poses; the Signal Corps is well represented here. the Radio teams are using extra advanced technology with ranges of up to two yards (Ornrian) for the small one and maybe several yards or, given good conditions even farther! Notice the short ranged wireless is rigged for voice communications, the Polyester Freestate is just that technologically advanced! but radio on Ornria is unreliable and so pigeons are a cheap and pretty good alternative.
